Hop'N Mad Apple

Hop'N Mad Apple from the Beer Expo

Alright I really have been craving this beer from the beer expo that I went to on January 31st. Found the cider at the local bottle store and had to buy it because I wanted to try a full glass, no two ounce sample. Angry Orchard has become a big commodity because of people trying to go gluten free. Angry Orchard is made by Samuel Adams Brewery. I know a lot of people that are gluten free that are looking for a great cider to have and not lose the beer taste that they use to be able to have. Hop'N Mad Apple in my opinion is that type of drink people are looking for, if you are use to having beer. When opening the bottle and pouring out the cider the drinker gets an aroma of apples. Began to sip on the cider and instantly notice that this cider has been made not as sweet as Angry Orchard products usually are. Thinking about that I began to think that the dry hopping had to do something with cutting out the sweetness of the hard cider. I have had many ciders and while drinking this cannot help to think that this one has become my favorite right now! The cider hits the taste buds with not a sweet taste, but a dry smooth taste because of the hops.

Glimpse of Hop'N Mad Apple

Started to drink this cider and was instantly hooked in to its cider goodness. I usually do not drink ciders because they are sweet and give me a sugar headache because of how sweet they are. Instead found that I would like to drink this all day because of how Samuel Adams Brewery dry hopped this cider. Hop'N Mad Appel is a refreshing twist on a hard cider because of the dry hopping process. While drinking this beer one can taste the hand pressed apples that were put into each cider and notice the goldish tint to the cider. If you are looking to try a new cider make sure this is the next cider you try I am sure you will not be disappointed and if you do try it let me know what your thoughts are about this beer.
