Avery White Rascal Belgian Style White Ale

New beer for the day was Avery Brewing Company: White Rascal. White rascal is a Belgian Style white ale that brews with spices. Poured the beer into the glass to be able to smell the aroma of the beer. Aroma of beers can be a deterring factor when trying beers for some people because people try beers by their nose and their taste buds. When taking in the aroma of this beer one can pick up a citrus aroma and cannot helped but be intrigued with where this beer might lead to. Took me away from the cold day and made me think of a warm beach. White Rascal smooth refreshing taste allows one to enjoy a few without feeling like they are getting hammered. While enjoying this Belgian Style White Ale one immediately recognizes the color of the beer, which has a goldish tint to the beer. I started to drink this beer and was instantly hooked because of the smooth taste to this beer. Whoever tastes this beer, instantly picks up the spices from the brewing process. Which helps one get an enhance the quality of the smoothness from this white ale.  

Goldish tint of Avery White Rascal

Avery White Rascal reminds me of a Blue Moon type of beer, which is a Wheat Ale. I would have to say that if I had to take one or the other, I would have to say that Avery would be my choice. Avery White Rascal compared to Blue Moon has a full body flavor and a smoother taste. Another beer that is similar to Avery White Rascal is Ommegang Witte beer. White Ales have a light taste and could be drank all day. I could not help when drinking this beer but to notice the carbonation of the beer and I think that it helped me enjoy this beer because it did not settle and start to become warm. I strongly suggest tasting this beer if you are looking for a good tasting beer as well as a lighter tasting craft beer. Avery White Rascal gets a score of 85 out of 100 from me, because of the smooth taste and drinkability. Some beer drinkers want a craft beer that you can drink all day like: Miller Lite, Bud Light, and Coors Light. I think that this beer is a craft beer that can be drink all day and not make you feel bloated or sick because you have been drinking all day. Ladies could also be interested in this beer because it is not a heavy beer but it also has a great smooth taste.
