Winter White Ale by Bell's Brewery
Been on a seasonal kick for beers. The new seasonal beer I had is Bell's Brewery, Winter White Ale. Bells brewery used a blend of malt and barley to give this beer the spice aroma and flavor without using any spices in the beer. Took a sniff to smell the aroma of the white ale and came up with a fruity, yet spice aroma from the beer. Bell's Brewery is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I think if anyone could create a good winter ale it should be some brewery from Michigan, Boston, or any northern state because they know what people have to go through to get there beer. Looking at this winter white ale I could not help but think to compare this to Avery White Rascal's White Ale. Both are delicious in their own ways. Avery is an unfiltered white ale with a little more bitterness which I think pays off in the end when enjoying it. Then Bell's white is less bitter is a little more on the lighter side of beers. Both beers are delicious let me repeat myself and show the drinker a different twist on the white ale.
Winter White Ale has a ABV of 5.0% and IBU of 10
Bell's mastered the white ale in my opinion, because of the light smooth taste. I think to myself when drinking this beer, oh man I cannot wait for summer, thats how good it is. This ale has a great citrus flavor like more white ales do. The only thing I wish is that this beer was not a seasonal beer and could be enjoyed year round like Avery White Rascal. Anyone looking for good white ales, these are the beers you are looking for.

Think I might have to take a trip up to Kalamazoo to visit this brewery and try their other brews they have.
