Destiny's Wit ABV 5.7%
Next beer up with the votes on the the reader's choice is Free Will Brewing Company's Destiny's Wit. Wit is an ale brewed with spices. I wanted to try this local brewery for some time now and have not found a beer that grabbed my interests such as this one. Free Will Brewing is a local brewery to me, they are no longer than 30 minutes from my house. They are located in Perkasie, PA. If you have been following this blog you know that I am not the biggest fan of hoppy and bitter beers. I like belgians and most ales that are not on the hoppy side. Wit beer is also known as a white ale because of the unfiltered ale and the pale color of the beer. Wit beers are very close to wheat beers in my opinion, they have a very similar taste and the part that usually separates them is the unfiltered process.

I dive in to smell the aroma of the beer and I am greeted with a spiced aroma that I am trying to put my finger on it. I know that I smell some banana and orange coming from the aroma. The last thing I am able to smell is coriander, which usually turns me off that beer, coriander and myself do not usually agree with each other. Next was to come to taste the beer and see what I was in for. I also enjoyed looking at the beer and seeing the white golden complexion of the beer showed it does belong with the white ale category of beer.

I go in for the first sip of the beer and I love it. I thought that the coriander would over power the beer like it usually does with most beers it is brewed with but this beer is very good. I definitely can taste the banana and the orange in the beer as well as the spices it was brewed with that compliment this beer so well. This ale brewed with spices is perfectly blended for the enjoyment of the drinker. I think that if you want to try an ale you should start with this Wit and go from there. This beer reminds me of a beer I already had on this blog and that was similar to Magic Hat Single Chair if you liked that beer you will definitely like this beer. Remember when you can try your local beers.
Looks good! I'll have to try it sometime.
