KEEP CALM AND CHIVE ON!

I want to inform you all if you have not tried KCCO Black lager you definitely should put it on your list of craft beer to try. I have had nine cases since January of last year. I do not know what it is about this beer but I just love it. In my mind it is a combination of two beer that I have had. I think it is a blend between Guinness and Yuengling. It has the best of both worlds in terms of beer. It is part Stout because if its color and complexity and it finishes like a Lager. I always explain it to people that are trying it for the first time that it is like a Stout Lite. If I had to rate this beer on a 1 to 100 I would give it a 95. When having this beer it is very smooth and I could drink it all day because of its alcohol per volume or ABV of 5.1 %. Another great thing about this beer outside of it being made by the CHIVE (Resignation BREWERY) and REDHOOK Brewery is the price per six pack or the price per a case. for a six pack I have found it for $8.99 and for a case it $35.00. Now to explain a little more about the quality of beer that KCCO Black Lager is. When drinking this beer I have found to enjoy it because of the smooth taste that they have produced. I also enjoy the hint of coffee that I have picked up while drinking this beer as well as the hint of Chocolate in the beer. The aroma of the beer is very pleasant. To say this was the first that I have really enjoyed is an understatement. I go around when I bar tend and try to get people to enjoy the beer as much as I do. I will ask people what they think of the beer. I have even brought it over to friends places who have not had the beer before just to see what they think of the beer that I love. I could and would write all day about KCCO Black Lager but do me a favor if you have not tried it yet at some point in the near future go try just one I guarantee you can not just have one.
Hi, This is an introduction to my beer blog. I am Nick Campellone and I LOVE BEER.
I am going to be blogging about different beer topics and different beers that I have recently had and enjoyed. I am doing this blog because I love beer and want to become part of the beer industry. Here is a little information about myself. I am a bartender that works at a T.G.I. Friday's. I have recently been trying to get into trying new beers and have found that I love beer and have a real passion for it. I want to get people interested in beer, so I figured what better way then to start a blog about craft beer. This will be all my thoughts about beers that I have recently had and I will pick a different topic related to beer each week to blog about. I will be posting about beer every Sunday or when I recently tried a new craft beer. I hope that you will enjoy my craft beer thoughts and ideas about beer.
